Thanks for understanding.

For the times you saw company to the door by yourself,

Thanks for understanding.

For the times after a bad incident I needed to talk about it,

Thanks for listening.

For the times you reheated supper at 11 pm,

Thanks for carring.

For the times you prepared a potluck dish on 2 hours notice,

for restraining youself and not wringing my neck,

Thanks for your patience.

For comming to firemen's socials and helping with the chores,

Thanks for your cooperation.

For the times when an after midnight call lasted till late

next morning,

Thanks for worrying.

For the times I wanted to go somewhere you were not interested

in and came anyway,

Thanks for the respect.

For the times I came home at 3 or 4 in the morning

and mysteriously my side of the bed was warm,

Thanks for your thoughtfulness.

For all these and a lot more I've forgotten,

all I want to say is Thank you!!

For just being who you are,

Thank you
